The Workers

"The Workers" is a photograph visualization that is part of a large article by The New York Times entitled "9/11: The Reckoning". It is composed of portraits and audio narratives by some of the 3,200 workers working at the World Trade Center site, the largest construction project in the US. The visualization showcases unique stories that each worker has to tell about what it means to rebuilding a piece of New York that was once lost. It has stories about workers who lost family member on September 11 or workers that had family member that worked on the original World Trade Center, etc.
