How far is too far? An analysis of driving times to abortion clinics in the US.

The Pudding tried to show the inequality in access to abortion in the US by mapping the cities and places with the worst access. There are two maps where, by using the slider, the user can see the number of urban areas in the US with no accessible abortion clinics within 1 to 8 round-trip drives (in the first) and the round-trip time to the nearest clinic at 8, 12, 16 or 20 weeks pregnant (in the second). The visualization also shows the cities with the longest round-trip travel time in the US, and the impact of the change in accessibility in key locations.
