Stereotropes

Stereotropes visualizes the many tropes (figures of speech that writers resort to as being present in the audience’s minds and expectations) in films. The main visualization resort to photographs to show the types of tropes that exist and the sex that they represent (papa wolf is always male and damsel in distress is always female) and there are supporting visualization to show which adjectives connect (non-ribbon chord diagram) and tag cloud that shows the most common adjectives by gender.
