This visualization created by Nathan Yau at Flowing Data reveals the worst and best journeys in th US based on average traveling time. The visualization allows the user to click on each county on the map to see how the average commute time in the chosen state compares to the rest of the US counties' average commute times. Counties colored dark or light blue have a lower average commute time, counties colored gray have about the same average commute time, and counties colored light or dark brown have a longer average commute time.
