The Dawn Wall
The visualization by The New York Times uses a 3D model of El Capitan in order to shown the path that climbers Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson followed on their free-climb of the Dawn Wall on El Capitan. It uses a scroll activated animation to show the path while adding photos and information about the journey. The model also reacts to the mouse movement.
