How You Will Die

This visualization allows the user to see how and when he/she will die, given his/her sex, race, and age. Each dot represents one of his/her simulated lives, and as each year passes, more of his/her simulated selves pass away. The colors correspond to each different cause of death (infection, cancer, blood, endocrine, mental, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, musculoskeletal, genitourinary, perinatal, congenital, external causes, or other), and the bars on the right keep track of the cumulative percentages. By the end, the user can see the chances he/she has of dying of each cause.
